Description

Ashtanga Yoga is a powerful and transformative practice, but without awareness of movement patterns, it can also lead to strain or injury. This workshop focuses on cultivating healthy movement patterns that support longevity in practice while addressing common areas of vulnerability. By refining alignment, understanding the role of bandhas, and recognizing three key anatomical points, practitioners will develop greater strength, stability, and ease in their practice.

This workshop is designed for anyone looking to move with more intelligence and sustainability - whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner. Through a combination of theory, practical application, and guided movement, we will explore how to refine technique, reduce unnecessary tension, and create a practice that is both strong and effortless. Rather than focusing on a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach, this workshop provides tools to understand your own body’s patterns and adapt the practice accordingly. You’ll learn how to identify and avoid common pitfalls that lead to injury, ensuring a more resilient and effective practice for years to come.
