What you'll learn:
Danny teaches all the Ashtanga Yoga sequences with an emphasis on an expanding, evolving practice. His innovative style integrates derivative poses, modifications, and variations, along with Egyptian Root Yoga positions and elements of Tai Chi and Kung Fu, offering practitioners new avenues for exploration within the familiar structure of Ashtanga Yoga.
Classes include pranayama (breathwork), dynamic asana practice, and open, engaging discussions.

Dive into accessible pranayama from the classical Ashtanga tradition and explore Danny’s dynamic asana sequences. Experience creative variations, modifications, and elements of the Primary and Intermediate Series, enriched with movements from Egyptian Yoga and martial arts. Suitable for all levels.

Danny shares yogic and shamanic wisdom on how to cultivate vitality, clarity, and peace at every stage of life. Explore how to balance your chakras and life force, preparing to age joyfully and approach transitions with confidence and serenity.
Practice:
Engage in meditative pranayama practices followed by a ritualistic and therapeutic asana experience. Journey deeper into an extended standing sequence, poses from the Intermediate Series, Egyptian Yoga, and martial arts-inspired movements designed for practitioners of all backgrounds and abilities.

Danny Paradise
Danny Paradise has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga since 1976 and teaching globally since 1979. A pioneer of the tradition, Danny was one of the first Western traveling teachers, studying initially with David Williams and Nancy Gilgoff, and later with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. He has introduced thousands around the world to Ashtanga Yoga, teaching renowned musicians, actors, athletes, artists, and directors along the way. Danny was one of the pioneers of Ashtanga yoga in the UK, and has been teaching here since the 1980s.
Danny emphasizes a creative, evolving practice, encouraging independence from rigid systems. His approach blends the teachings of Krishnamurti, Buddhism, Shamanic traditions, and indigenous cultures from the Americas, Polynesia, Tibet, Africa, and Asia. With warmth and humor, he shares yoga as a meditative, therapeutic, and sacred practice, supporting personal growth, vitality, and joyful living.
Beyond yoga, Danny is also a musician, songwriter, filmmaker, performance artist, and human rights activist.
